A Study on the Thickness of Media of the Arteries

Abstract
|
|
|
Authors has studied 23 Korean cadaver (14 miles, 6 female3) the thickness of media, the ratio and
regression equation of the thickness of media to the radius of the arteries of the cerebral, upper extremity, lower extremity and abdominal cavity.
The results obtained were as follows:
1) The thickness of media was increased about 1.52.0 times in association with increment of ´the radius from 0.5mm to 1. 25mm.
2) The ratio of the thickness of media and the radius was seen, in the following diminishing order, abdominal cavity, lower extremity, upper extremity and cerebral arteries.
3) The regression equation of the thickness of media to the radius were as follow; lower extremity
is y=0. 192x-0. 022, upper extremity is y=0. 161x-0.022, abdominal cavity is y=0.154x+0.017 and cerebral arteries was y=0.092x-0.022, respectively.
